The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies program, also known as Liberal Studies at some universities, provides students with a well-rounded, liberal studies education. Program structure gives students the flexibility to customize their degree around a theme, topic of interest or a track to meet personal and professional goals. 

AAS - Web Technology with concentration in Web Development

Overview

The Associate of Applied Science in Web Technology provides students with a foundation in planning, creating and managing web design and development. Editing/publishing software tools, graphics programs and technologies are addressed for bringing various media forms to life via web delivery.  

This two-year degree program is designed to help students acquire the skills necessary for entry-level web development employment opportunities upon graduation from community college.

AAS - Early Childhood Education

Overview

The Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education provides a course of study that prepares students for career opportunities in early childhood education and specifically addresses the needs of assistant teachers in Tennessee’s Head Start programs by meeting the educational requirement stipulated in Federal Law. The program offers sufficient theoretical knowledge and practical experience that enable graduates to function in a variety of early childhood settings.
