Arriving in May 2017, Kit is the newest member to join TN eCampus as a Senior Instructional Designer. Previously, she was an instructional designer for the Center for eLearning at Florida State College in Jacksonville, FL, and Instructional Design Faculty for the School of Nursing and Allied Health, providing instructional design support at Weber State University in Ogden, UT. Kit earned a Master’s of Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Development from the University of South Alabama. She has more than ten years of instructional design experience specializing in developing training programs for government agencies and online courses for higher education institutions.
As Senior Instructional Designer, Kit serves as a project lead in the course development and review process, providing instructional design expertise and guidance to faculty in selecting appropriate technologies and applying pedagogical/andragogical best practices and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. She also collaborates in the development of TN eCampus course development templates and standards, instructional design methodologies, best practices to develop high-quality, engaging, ADA/508 compliant, fully-functional online courses, as well as faculty professional development and performance support materials.
