A native of east Tennessee, Colbe Wilson moved to middle Tennessee in 2010 to attend Tennessee Tech University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Relocating to Nashville in 2014, Colbe joined the TN eCampus Central Office staff as the organization’s first graduate assistant. Colbe’s initial role focused on instructional design and training and later included coordination of the TN eCampus faculty mentor program and management of state-wide proctoring for eCampus students. Colbe graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology in August 2016.
In her role as Campus Relations Manager, Colbe is responsible for communications between the TN eCampus central office and TBR institutions with a focus on support and retention. She is the TN eCampus liaison between central office staff and various constituencies including faculty, course developers, faculty mentors, and distance education directors. Her role is responsible for identifying organization communication needs and opportunities, as well as developing strategic solutions which will forge stronger relationships with campus stakeholders. Additionally, Colbe manages faculty and student support systems including tutoring, proctoring, mentoring, and plagiarism detection, as well as coordination of strategic training events.
