The Post Master's graduate certificate is a degree level that is intermediate between the Master's degree and the doctorate.
The Nursing Administration certificate provides a flexible learning environment and a highly individualized experience for students who hold a Master of Science in Nursing degree in another specialty. Through this program, students will gain a strong foundation in complex systems, organizational theory, financial management, and leadership practice.
This certificate program is offered through a partnership of Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) universities. The program is designed to offer didactic/theory courses online and to coordinate practicum/clinical study in each student's home area when possible. The partnership model allows TBR universities to share their most valuable resources to enrich program offerings. Classes are taught by faculty from participating universities. Faculty members are recognized experts in their content area, regardless of institution of employment.
The Master of Science in Nursing program is fully accredited through fall 2019 by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), formerly the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
