Training must be successfully completed prior to the beginning of the semester in which the instructor will begin teaching for TN eCampus. The self-guided training covers the use of the D2L Learning Management System (LMS), best practices in online instruction, and all the relevant TBR policies and procedures for teaching TN eCampus courses.
To take the instructor training, one must be nominated by their campus’ distance education director. The nomination form is online and triggers an enrollment in the appropriate self-guided online tutorial for all new instructors, including those who have taught online in the past. Faculty members will be enrolled in training after their campus leadership completes this registration form (cannot be completed by instructor/course developer).
