Continuing Education is a collaborative effort with TBR institutions to address individual and employer workforce development needs. We bring professional training and development to you – at home, at work, at the library, on the road, on vacation, anytime of the day or night. Individuals attending these online courses can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for certification and/or recertification to maintain credentials in a specified field of work or study.

Continuing Education courses are offered as:

Scheduled courses - offered with specific start and end dates
On Demand courses - continuously available; you decide when you want to start your class

ROCE 2106 - Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Part I

This course is designed to provide a basic knowledge and overview of the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) examination. It covers the initial areas of the exam: communication, general knowledge of management and theories, organization and planning, informationn distribution, and organizational management.
Prerequisites:  None
Continuing Education Units: 2.5
 

ROCE 2107 - Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) - Part II

This course is designed to provide a basic knowledge and overview of the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) examination. ROCE 5102 - Anatomy and Physiology for Health

This course introduces the student to essential basic information from the sciences of anatomy and physiology. The content is organized by body systems and complements theory and practice in basic fundamentals for all allied health courses (i.e nursing, surgical tech, medical assisting, medical office, coders, pharmacy tech, etc.). This scientific framework will assist the student in understanding the mechanisms by which the body attempts to maintain and/or restore equilibrium or balance; and will foster development of skills of observation necessary to assess, monitor, and report symptoms that result in malfunction in organs and/or body systems.

ROCE 5211 - Dosage Calculations for Nurses

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of dosage calculations - a vital part of the nurse’s role in providing safe medication administration to patients. It serves to ensure that the patient receives the accurate dose of each medication.
